So I cant believe how long its been since I have written on here. I totally forgot about it. I cant even think of all the things that have happened since I last wrote.
The new year has already come and it is March. I cant believe it. Time has gone by so fast. Lets see..... I am still dating Dustin. It has been 5 months now which Icant believe its been that long either. He is good to me. For Valentines day, he got me pearl earings. He is very sweet to me.
My older brother Jared is getting married in about a week and a half. I am very excited for him. His fiance is very cool and so are her 2 girls. It will be nice to have them in the family. My job is going good at the hotel. I still like it most days. lol. Thats enough for now. I will try to be better about updating this.

the new year

Happy new year to everyone!!! I know its been a long time. I thought I wrote on here at Christmas time. Oops. It has been a crazy time.
Christmas was great. I stayed the night at my parents house on Christmas Eve. It was fun doing the tradition things. Emily, Aaron, Jared, his fiance Debi, and her 2 daughters along with my parents and grandma were all together for Christmas. It was great.
Dustin got me a pearl bracelet for Christmas. I was not expecting something so expensive. It is really pretty. Mom and dad gave me clothes and some movies and gift card. They are always good to me.
I welcomed in the new year with Dustin at a friends party. It wasnt that fun. My oldest sister came to visit with her husband and 3 kids. It was good to see them. I miss them.
So that is about it. I will try to be better at writing it but i make no guarantees

Sorry its been a while. I have totally spaced it. Though I cant think of whats been going on.
Things have been busy at work. The Christmas shopping finally started picking up so the merchants have been keeping us busy at work. Some days I just want to pull my hair out. lol.
Lets see... My life, what can I say? I pretty much have my Christmas shopping done. I just have a few small things to get. I feel bad I dont have a lot to spend, but such is life.
My sister is doing good with the baby. I hope I get to see them soon. Cant wait to see my new niece. Lily. My younger sister Emily is home for Christmas until the new semester starts. Its good to see her. Thats about it for me. Bye

Well, its been a while I know. It seems like life has been really busy though I cant recall all that I have done to be so busy. Thats the way it goes though right? Work is keeping my busy with the new system that we have. It is definitely taking some getting some used to. Its really nice when it is online. Offline is another story. ha ha.
So this week, Dustin took me to the festival of trees here in slc. It was so much fun. I always love this time of year. It helped me get more in the mood. There were hundreds of trees on display. Lots of gingerbread houses, castles, and even a temple. They were all so beautiful. It was so nice to see the Christmas trees that people decorated to keep the true meaning of Christmas in mind. Messages about Christ and helping people.
Tonight after having dinner at my parents house, we watched the first presidency Christmas devotional. It was very touching. I love President Monson and his counselors. They have such great messages to give. The music was beautiful too. It was a great hour for me. Well, thats about it.

Thanksgiving

So, yesterday was Thanksgiving. I was happy I got to go to my parents for dinner. It was a pretty good turnout. There was my parents, my grandma Jimenez, my older brother and his fiance and her 2 daughters, my younger brother and sister, me, and Dustin (my boyfriend) It was very good. My parents tried a different way of cooking the turkey. They cooked it in a roasting oven. It was very good. My favorite part of the dinner was the stuffing. I love my mom's homemade stuffing. yum. I made the jello pretzel salad. It didnt turn out as pretty as it does when my mom makes it.
Thats pretty much whats been going on. I just want to say how thankful I am for my family. They are great and I love them very much.

Alica and Lily

It has been a while since I have updated the blog. Lets see where do I start...
This last Thursday, we got a new system at work. We had to stay after work until it was done. I was there for almost 14 hours that day. So exhausting. At least we are caught up with the 21st century now.
Alicia had her baby Friday the 21!!! I am so excited to be an aunt again. It was a girl. Her name is Lily. I love that name. She is a big baby, weighing in at 8lbs 15oz. She has a full head of very dark hair. Alicia is doing well all things considering. A shout out to my sister. "I love you"
Thanksgiving is in 3 days. It will be nice. My older brother and his fiance will be there and my younger sister and grandma and dad and me with my boyfriend Dustin. We arnt sure if Mom will be though. She is with Alicia right now and she is a great mom/ grandma right now. Another shout out to mom.... "I love you mom."

Today was a long day at work. I had to work open to close and it was really busy. The other teller was gone so I was working for 2 people. Nothing else going on really. I came home from Boise last night. Its good to sleep in my own bed, but I miss my sisters and their kids and Becca. Holla' to Boise.
